Pinging With Pingers

ASP.NET 页生命周期概述
Ping, in the most simplistic terms, is an Internet tool that knocks on the doors of search engines and directories to invite them to crawl your website or blog.
WordPress includes automatic pinging through Ping-o-Matic, but you can also do manual pinging if you choose. Elliott Back offers a huge list of pinging services, too, worth investigating.
And remember, pinging is like submitting to a search engine, do it more than once in a reasonable length of time and you can be penalized. If you abuse pingers, they will block your access, so don’t go crazy with this list. Use it thoughtfully and wisely.
And pinging everything on the planet does no one any good if that particular search engine or directory arrives on your site to find it is inappropriate for its needs. Why waste time. Stick with pinging services which serve your audience.
For example, Pingomatic covers mostly English speaking services, while Pingoat and Blogflux Pinger cover many foreign languages. If your blog is not in English, then you would definitely want to check out the foreign language pinging services and skip the all English services.
For the most part, if you are a WordPress user, stick with the automatic functions and you will get covered very well. If you need more coverage, here is a list of ping services and the number of search engines and directories they ping for you.
